- Agree in principle but ask for a two-month proof of concept.
- Say the technology isn't ready yet and the project needs more research.
- Reframe: 'Two questions before that conversation. What does our refund policy do when the AI is confidently wrong, and who owns the escalation when it is?'
- Offer to draft a deck comparing three vendor options for the next steering meeting.

- Is this worth taking if I already manage AI projects?
- It is, if you've never sat an exam on the discipline. The cert is a 50-question test of judgment in suitability, estimation, risk, and stakeholder framing. Most working PMs have learned these by getting burned. The cert is the structured version that you can put on a resume.
- How is this different from the PMP or a Coursera AI Product course?
- The PMP is generalist project management. Coursera AI courses are usually instruction-only. This cert is a proctored 50-question multiple-choice exam, scored by server, with a public verify URL on every certificate. It is built to be a hiring signal, not a learning curriculum.
- Will employers actually recognize this credential?

- Do I need a technical background to pass?
- No. The exam never asks you to write or read code. Every question is a scenario or a multiple-choice judgment call. If you can read a one-paragraph product brief, you can sit this exam.
- What if I fail?
- Pay $2 to retry the cert once, after a two-hour gate. The gate is automatic and protects against brute-force guessing. The retry uses a freshly randomized question subset from the bank.
- How long is the cert valid?
- The certificate is valid for one year from issue. After that the public verify page shows it as expired and a renewal exam is available.
